Siapa Gayuh?

Yes, my complete name is Gayuh Nugroho Dwi Putranto. I’ve been called Gayuh ever since. Due to my too long name, I write it as Gayuh Putranto.

I was born in Madiun, May 26, 1983. My elementary schools were SD Kartoharjo I (or SD Guntur) Madiun and SD Pekuncen III Pasuruan, then SMP 2 and SMU 1 Pasuruan. On 2001, I traveled to Bandung to study in Institut Teknologi Bandung, majoring Geological Engineering. As student, I achieved two awards (actually I competed in more events and I got lost most) in two difference national paper contests. First, on Weekly of Indonesian Geology Student Interaction (PIGI), and second, on National Paper Challenge “Geoscience for Life”. I wrote about the future of energy in Indonesia, coal and geothermal.

Once I graduated, I was hired by PT Pamapersada Nusantara as a mine engineer who responsible in mine sequence (loading, dumping, drilling, and blasting), short-mid term mine planning, and also mine geotechnical aspect (slope stability) in a coal mine.

On May 2010, I moved to PT Aneka Tambang Tbk as Geologist or Exploration Engineer in Exploration Unit. Antam is an Indonesian limited liability state  corporation (BUMN) that is vertically integrated to undertake all stages of the mining process from exploration, mining, smelting, and refining through to marketing. Antam’s main products are ferronickel, nickel ore, gold, silver and bauxite. All I have to do are searching new reserves of gold and copper. I deal with epithermal system, structural geology, vein and fault, mineralization and alteration, and drilling management. Meanwhile, I have a special interest in structural geology.

Psychologically, I am a sanguine-choleric person who love networking-organization things, visit new places, adventuring, and reading books. Milanisti since 1993 and skill-less guitarist as well as drummer while listening to Dream Theater and GIGI. I have also interests in internet things. Here are my sites and accounts:
